This beautiful room came to life in a thriving Norfolk nursery setting, when it became clear that many of their children needed extra support with their social and emotional development. 

The Burrow is our first official consultancy project, and one close to our hearts.

The room is designed, from scratch, with a calming and enabling environment for early years children.

 

The space needed to be easily adaptable to support a variety of individual and group needs. The open plan setup allows both free-flow play and structured gentle intervention to unfold naturally and safely.

Based on our extensive research, and together with the setting, we collated bespoke resources to complement and reinforce the interventions in our teaching. We also worked with the setting to develop policies and procedures and supported them to implement funded and private access models.
